Splitting reinforcing pots not working

As the title says, i cant seem to split my reinforcing pots in my inventory. The holding the shift while dragging to an empty spot has no effect. Suggestions or ideas will be much appreciated.

On another note does anyone have a link to a site that covers everything u want to know about upgrading? weps,armor, elemental stones,prayer stones,jewelry. a little help in breaking the code when u click on a piece of armor or wep for example.
