Idea for an online game...

I've had an idea for an online game for a while now, I just want peoples feedback on whether it sounds like a cool game I don't actually expect Codemasters to make the game while I sit back and do nothing. Anyway heres my idea:

Similar graphics, and overall gameplay idea to Eve Online, but instead of in a spaceship, you're in a slightly futuristic submarine, and the game world is basically just a flooded world with small islands and a coast, with a huge expanse of sea. You start off with a tiny submarine, and you leave the harbour and dive below the sea, to make money at first you much catch fish using a net, then when you make money you can upgrade to harpoons and you can catch lager fish/dolphins etc. then you can choose mine for gas at the bottom of the ocean or carry on catching larger predatory sea creatures, the higher level you become the lower your sub can go underwater, and the oil/gas/metal you can mine lower down is worth more, but watch out because the lower down you go the larger the predators become and its pitch black down there too so it will be a truly nerve wrecking game, soon you will have to dive with groups of 4-10 to harvest materials so that you can fight off or catch giant squid etc. This game could be called Sub Zero.

Obviously there will be players that go down the pirate route who destroy ships/steal loot etc. which will give the game a pvp element. Also players will get to play as underwater predators hunting human players.
