Grinding Time - Tips Please!

(Mabye this should be in Newbie Village - Sorry)

Ok so i read all these posts about people getting to 40 in a day easily and 60 in 2 weeks.
Now I want to know what I can do to get levels faster - I don't expect to get anywhere near 60 anytime soon, but a little faster would be nice. Right now (31 Hunter) it takes me at least an hour a level, and each time I level, it takes longer and longer. I just don't get how people can do 40 in a day.. Mabye they do nothing besides play AL? I can take 10-12 dungeon mobs my level at one time and I kill them relatively fast, but each batch only gives me approx. 4% of the level. I guess really what I am asking for is tips. My only chantra is stuff I buy with ingame money, so right now its only Lens.
Mabye its impossible if I have a life outside of the game/don't waste money on chantra, but if you guys have any tips, that'd be great.
