EVO Engine and Dedicated Servers

Suppose Codemasters developed Dedicated Servers for any one game running on the EVO engine...

- They could deciede for themselves whether they want to publicly distribute them (loose control but get quality servers run for them for free) or keep files private and buy official servers (maintain control over content but pay for servers).

- Perhaps they could use the same code with minor modifications on all the other games running on the EVO engine (better Return Of Invested money & effort) ?

- Modify and use the same code to run dedicated servers on multiple platforms (PC, 360, PS3) ? (again more benefit for the same work)

- Allow one machine to run several servers (consoles in particular are usually limited to low maxplayers, therefore use one machine to run several servers - dramatically reduced costs for running servers) ?

- Allow people to play on the same server cross platform (more fun for players + save cost because you only have to maintain one set of servers... btw I'm mostly thinking of driving games) ?

- If they could put a tick to even just 2-3 of those points, perhaps this would be the most cost effective solution for improving the multiplayer experience?
